Susan Miller

"Astrology is not destiny. It is the study of planetary cycles, some that repeat and some that are once-in-a-lifetime events. The planets create opportunities and challenges on a regular basis, and it is not what happens to us that matters most, but how we respond to those challenges.

Many people become consumed by the challenges, and in so doing fail to see the brilliant opportunities being laid at their feet. Astrology can help you see them and to understand the timing that you need to know to take advantage of them before they disappear.

I have always felt that astrology is best used to plan events and to sidestep the difficulties. Astrology can also help you understand your talents and give you great confidence in the worthiness of your work. It can tell you when a difficult time will end and what you must learn from the experience while you are going through it."

I love Susan Miller. She writes the best astrology - detailed and freakishly accurate. She predicted my new job, "in broadcasting or publishing" as it said in my yearly horoscope, down to the date.

I wholly agree with her views on astrology. I also believe that positive thinking gets you further than dwelling on the past mistakes or future challenges. Astrology is not about predicting the future, it's about taking advantage of the opportunities that are coming your way.

I only pay attention to favorable horoscopes. If I read a negative one, I dismiss it as being hogwash, written by some hack with a good thesaurus.

I'm not sure if it's true, but apparently the NZ Herald offices have a lot of fun coming up with the daily horoscopes.

Seriously though, you need to start reading Susan Miller.

I adore Susan Miller too. Come the first of the month, I'm practically waiting online clicking refresh. Ahem. What star sign are you?

Haha, me too!

I'm a cancer, and a very typical one apparently - apart from the fact that I am terrible at cooking. What's yours?
